SaGetNArg

Returns the value of the Nth input argument from an Anchor.

Synopsis

#include "SaRnHtml.h"
char* SaGetNArg(int num);

Arguments

num
specifies which input argument's value to get, counting from 0.

Return Values

Value of the Nth (num-1) input argument from an Anchor or NULL if num is invalid.

Description

When an anchor is bound as a HotList, Sapphire/Web "populates" the HREF with 1 or more input arguments. When that Anchor is also used as a Activator, these arguments can be used as input arguments to that Data Object. The first anchor argument is numbered 0. If num is not a valid argument number for that anchor, then NULL is returned. The return value is not copied data but a pointer to a stored value and should not be free'd or modified.

Example

char* value;
value = SaGetNArg(0);
Note: This call is generated automatically by Sapphire/Web through use of the Object Bind Editor.
